View Full Version : Headman long tubes advise.

Picture this. A bare frame with no cab.



Hanging from an crane cable a bare block and heads with a turbo 350.



Now just lower the motor down and test install the headman long tubes to make sure for proper fit before you make the motor mounts.



I tell you guys you better have the motor in the correct location or they just won’t fit!



There isn’t much room for movement once you get them in place.



The engine has to be the correct height and front to back spacing or you don’t have a chance.



I wouldn’t take a chance on any just any mounts being able to work with these headers.



I am custom making my mounts to work on the transdapt plates.



Good luck if your using any other setup.



Unless you are racing and really need the extra ponies stay with the shorties.

Sucks learning the hard way eh/ ya shorties are the way to go.

my hedman long tubes were a job to install they go together in pieces starter and tubes have to go up at same time good luck stan steamer
