Headman long tube owners let us know what motor mounts you use

It looks like there are different combos that will put the engine in different heights location from front to back in the engine bay.



If you are using the long tubes and they went right in with no clearance problems, tell us what motor mount combo you used.



I get the feeling that there won\'t be more than one combo that will work with these headers.

You do know, when ordering those headers there is a footnote that says you MUST use trans-dapt motor mouts... right?

im on sure what kind of mounts i use ...i got them on a trade deal...but the 350 set\'s way back....my heads almost hit the firewall.....ans i had long tubes on mine.....the only problem is that because the rear tube on both side run out side and over the frame ...to be able to turn the sterring wheel all the way you have to run shinny\'s up front or least a real small tire....i had no problems putting them in.....i cut the ears off the tranny to help....they will come uo from the bottom on both side\'s....than the other 2 piece\'s will drop in from the top.....later on i put shorties on there and it was really easy....i hope that this help\'s out.....my email at home is my454s10@aol.com

The Headman longtubes i have run inside the frame rails.



I think the Hooker Super Comps run outside in the fenderwell on one of the tubes.



I do have the transdapt plates with the correct mount on the bottom. I am just making the engine clamshell plate that bolts to them.



I want to make sure the engine loads both mounts evenly and it is square and level to the frame when the engine is installed.
