waste your money and space on the 4 core, and when it don\'t work the sale will be over.

Mike

no need to be sorry, i am just trying to save you some money, and steer you in the right direction.

why would you want a 4 core rad?

what do you think the benefit will be?

I... myself, honestly do not know, my dad told me it\'d be best? I\'m sure my dad doesn\'t know everything, but he was telling me thats what I should get, you know how stubborn some people are.. -Adam

well...

a 4 core rad can work, however the cores of a rad is not what makes the rad cool, the fins on the rad is where you get your cooling, the more fins per inch the better the rad will cool.

it\'s easier and cheaper to build a 4 core rad with a low fin count, then a 1 row with a high fin count. the Corvette rad uses a very high fin count and it works, saves space and is realitively cheap, compared to most 4 core rads. there are also many other factors with cooling also, fans, mixture and air flow.

i am not going to say your dad is wrong or right, but i am going to say that GENERAL MOTORS knows what they are doing.

if i wasn\'t going to have ac delco, i would go with modine, but that\'s about it, especially considering they don\'t even put a name on it, but that\'s me.

i use a radiator out of a camaro....just rember that the thicker the radiator the harder it is to push air through it...the old style 4 core just can\'t keep up with today\'s technolgy....a rad from a 4.3 s-10 also work great....im thinking about trying a vette rad for my new big block

Diablo
