you can leave the in tank pump it will pull gas thru it but since you already got it apart might as well take the pump off...

the block mount pump will pull the fuel through the tank pump but might cause a few issues. i have an external electric pump and i left mine in the tank and when fuel level gets about 1/4 tank left i loose fuel pressure. so i would replace it with a rubber line.
i can put a rubber line inplace off the pump but what do i put at the end of the rubber line?

Nothing if you don\'t want to. Just make sure you don\'t have too long of a hose or it could suck itself to the bottom of the tank under heavy throttle. Don\'t ask me how I know that . . . If you have the sock thing left over from your fuel pump, maybe you could hook that onto the bottom of the hose somehow . . .
