I have an 85 s10 with a 350/350. I put the Taurus electric fan on and it cools fine around town. But when I get on the interstate since I dont have overdrive im pulling 3000 or 3400 to keep up with traffic. It beging to heat up and I have to back off to under 3000 rpms. I am trying to fing any solutions possible. Maybe a hoodscoop, headerwrap or something to try to keepit cooler on the highway. Thanks for any help

Aluminum radiator will make all the diff. Mine is just the oppisite, cools great on the move but sitting is a differnt story. Just gotta get air through the radiator is all, i just bought a Scirocco dual 8\'\' to mount behind the radiator to go along with the 14\'\' that is infront so i should have no problems anymore.

Hi, Anytime that you overheat driving at highway speed the first thing to check is the lower radiator hose.If it dosenot have a wire spring in it, the hose will be sucked sut by the water pump suction. In nutural rev engine and look at lower hose. (DYNLUB) TOM

Even in Tampa around this time of the year it should not heat up on the road. Dynlub has a good idea.....be sure that the engine is at operating temperature before trying this... and count your fingers before and after!

Keep us all informed.

try a hi flow water pump... it might not be circulating enough water through the engine

just an idea, i have an edelbrock one and it works great
