found used nascar slicks two 4 $55

I just bought 2 used nascar slicks off ebay for a slamin deal $55 shiping included for 27.5x12x15 and he has tons more! I know they arent best for dragracing but $55 and %50 tread thats a deal! He mostly has 10\" wide slicks they will probably fit without tubs. wow... im really tempted to buy a set right now. I hope theres nothing missing there... I just need a spare set of rims and those would be great. Anyone else able to confirm if they\'ll sit in fender wells with no mods?

nascar tires have a different rubber compound in them then a drag slick, they have stiff sideways so they won\'t flex like a slick, i personal wounldn\'t use them for drag racing. I don\'t understand the tread , because they don\'t have tread...its a slick, they have wear holes in them. They were probaly a qualifying tire so there probaly blistered. Let me know what there like when you get them.

Through my experience, it is pretty easy to get a set on your own for free, or at least at the race I go to. In Cleveland we have a race at one of our airports, and the padock is opened after the last race on Sunday. I asked the Indy car people if I could have some but they destroy all of them for fairness\'s sake. Don\'t ask me why. But I kept wondering and found the tire truck for the Trans-Am road race cars, they were 335/40/16 tires. I asked he gave me some, I only took two because I had to carry them all the way to parking. That same race I even picked up the front wing from an Indy lights car. Mabey I am just lucky but I bet you guys could be to.
