Hey, just wondering what kinda tickets you all have gotten with your s-10. I got one for spinning my tires just a little bit from a gravely stop sign. They spun about 10 ft, both of them, wasnt even on purpose. Well, anyway, i got nailed for neg driving. $490.00, what a crock. I never lost control, didnt even go sideways at all, the tires didnt smoke, didnt squeal, didnt leave marks. Then i hear the police report my frist time to court, and it says 28ft of dark black, and 10 ft of light black, it also says one tire. WHAT A LIAR!!! They didnt leave any marks, and i have limited slip, and they both ALWAYS spin, ALWAYS. Well, yeah, thats my ticket. Havent gotten nailed for speeding or racing yet, although my neighbor is a sherrif, and he heard about me racing(got reported 2 times) he said he wouldnt tell my parents, just to stop. After that, he also said \"You better have won\"... i did. One more thing, my truck, can easily leave 130+ ft marks(im sure all of ours can, with street tires), but they didnt that time, and im pissed.

Good luck with the court date. Make sure you have a thorough knowledge of how your limited slip diff works so you can explain it to the judge. Sounds like that\'s all you\'ll need to get off.



I (knock on wood) haven\'t gotten any tickets yet, but I thought I was gonna be done for sure one night. To give you a little background, the cops around my area are the biggest pricks I have ever come across. I\'ve been pulled over, asked if I had any drugs in the car, pulled out of the car and searched, and then let go. When I asked why I got pulled over in the first place the cop makes something up and takes off. One reason was \"Uhh, your engine sounded kinda loud and I wanted to make sure you weren\'t having car trouble.\" This was when I was driving my first car, a 1987 Suzuki Samurai with like, a 1.5 liter 4 banger or something. Loud? I don\'t think so. Pretty much the cops around here just pick on anyone under the age of 25 expecting them all to be drug dealers.



Anyway, so I get pulled over around 1:00am coming home from the bar. Since I was driving my truck I made sure not to get trashed, but I did have a couple beers. Oh yeah, I have no cats on my truck and Jersey laws give a $1000 fine per missing cat.



First thing the cop says to me is, \"You know that exhaust\'s illegal, right?\" I\'ve got 40series flowmasters on it with 2.5 inch duals and it\'s pretty loud, even at idle. So I say, \"yeah, it\'s kinda loud huh?\" The cop smirks and starts bullshitting with me about what I got under the hood, what mods, tranny etc. When he asked about the exhaust I thought I was a goner, but he turned out to be one of the few cool cops around here.



Anyway, after running my liscense and seeing I wasn\'t wanted or anything he comes back to my window and goes, \"you were just idleing this thing through town weren\'t you?\" I go, \"yeah, I was trying to keep it as quiet as possible.\"



Here\'s the best part:



So he says, \"Man, if that was idleing, I\'d love to hear what this thing sounds like opened up! If ya want, you can get on it pulling out of here. Have a good night.\"



So, never one to dissapoint, I do a 100ft long smokey burnout and take off down a highway on ramp on the way back to my house.



Imagine what someone driving by would have thought when they saw a truck tearing away from a traffic stop with the cop walking back to his car with the cherries still flashing!

I didn\'t have anything that bad. But I got my truck and here in IL you need truck plates and the freaking state gave me passanger vehicle plates.Well anyways the cops dont like that to much here......turns out the title to my truck says it\'s a van.....go figure. Anyways I have gotten pulled over for doing 5 under the speed limit, I have also gotten pulled over and because my truck is in primer he thought it was stolen..WTF! I\'ve gotten pulled over a ton, but only got one ticket from a dick head cop for no proof of insurance, because my x-girlfriends name was on the card....but it was current, and both of out names were on the policy....uggg. Talk to ya all later

I\'ve been decently lucky with my blazer. I had a bunch of speeding tickets in my fullsize truck. I\'ve gotten 1 speeding ticket, and an improper lane change.



The speeding ticket he wrote me up for loud exhuast, and no front plate.



Guy pulled right out in front of me. Instead of slamming on the brakes, I cut to the other lane, stared yelling at him, then got on it and sped away. Of course the stately only saw me swerve and speed up, not him cut me off. And, he \"heard me nail it and squeal the tires\". I just hit the gas a little, didn\'t downshift or anything. I told him he was full of shit, and I\'d show him breaking the tires loose. He didn\'t like that any.

Dam that must suck, i haven\'t been botherd about my motor or noise, Just the lights on my truck one cop around here really has it out for me !!! stuipid cop!! He has pulled me over atleast 4 times just cuz of the lights!

ive been stopped 4 times first time was in a 80 camaro i kicked it side ways at a intersection about 3 blocks down was a cop it was late after new years and there was no other traffic im sure he saw my lights shine up in the yard after i drove passed him he turn around and stopped me just checking if i was drunk and i had my seat belt to loose...warning

second time was in a 83 camaro a bunch of people on bikes \"the pedal kind\" were going down the road so i went in the other lane and nailed it to pass all of them befor any cars came the cop was in a driveway hiding behind some trees he gave me a warning for speeding and told me to be more carfull ha i was 16 whats carfull!!!???

third time i was living in Ill and just traded a truck for a monte ss so i was running the truck plate till i could get it plated they dont like that either i told him in 2 weeks i was moving back to indiana and would get it plated then warning

fourth time i was going down the bypass my buddy was hitting his rev limiter in his nissan at 105 and i was playing with him pulling out ahead of him and then fadding back in the monte ss \"was built for high speed\" a cop was going the other direction and hit his lights and i saw him pull into a open area in the center wall divider i nailed it and took off i hit the next exit ramp i never say the cop again BUT i passed a cop who hadsomeone else pulled over he noticen my truck plate about an hour after i got home \"right down the street from where he saw my plate he pulled in my drive way and gave me a written warning for it i told him i just moved back and was going monday oh well still no ticket lol

i haven\'t had any tickets with my truck..yet..lol. the last ticket i got was something stupid like endagering the public...long story made short, i had a 89 camaro acouple years ago and i was cruising down the backroads...well cruiseing at about 110mph and i come into this really awsome corner and i admit i was really pushing the limit of the car, well there was a firebird comeing at me in the other lane and i kinda ran him in the ditch...lol.



Well i didn\'t stop, the guy didn\'t crash so why stop. I went to town and stopped to get gas, well while i was filling up, guess who pulled into the gas station...dude in a firebird..lol. Well after a few nasty words about how i ran him in the ditch... i told him to go F**K. It seems about that time 3 squad cars pulled in.



It happened to be that this guy was an off duty officer that was taking his girlfriend to dinner. And she had called the cops while we were arguing. Oh yeah... i was drunk and had a revoked license. lets just say i spent enough money on fines that i probaly bought them a new squad car.

IVE GOTTEN MORE TICKETS THEN I CAN COUNT IM 19 NOW AND IM STILL PAYIN TICKETS OFF FROM WHEN I GOT MY LICENSE AT 17.



THE ONE IS WHEN I FIRST GOT DONE PUTTIN THE MOTOR IN MY TRUCK I WAS TAKIN TO MY AUNTS ABOUT A HALF HOUR AWAY I DID A BURNOUT RIGHT IN FRONTR OF A COP AND HE PUT HIS LIGHTS ON AND I TRIED TO GET AWAY BUT OF COURSE HE GOT ME AND I GOT SIX TICKETS AT ONE TIME THEY WERE NO REGISTRATION, PLATE FROM ANOTHER VEHICALE, NO PROOF OF INSURANCE, FAKE INSPECTION STICKERS, RECKLESS DRIVING, DISTURBING THE PEACE FOR MY EXHAUST AND THEY IMPOUNDED MY TRUCK AND I HAD TO CALL FOR A RIDE HOME. ALL TOGETHER IT COST ME ABOUT $1400 AND IM STILL PAYIN THAT SHIT OFF. BUT IM GETTIN MY LICENSE BACK SOON IT IS SUSPENDED FOR THE SECOND TIME. Man i must be lucky. Cops in my city are ass***** too. In the past 5 to 6 years i have been pulled over at least 12 to 15 times and i never got a ticket. I think the one thing that gets me by with out getting a ticket is a military ID. No I am not tryign to get you guys or girls in the military, but having one sure does help.

heres some bull sh#$ my blazer has been sitting at my friends house for about six months because i have been working on it and i didnt have plates on it so i finaly got it running cause i hooked up the new painless wireing took it down his nabor hood sreet turned around and a cop was right behind me he busted me for no plates i was just testing it out and didnt even leve his street

well it all started when i had my 3.08 gears in my truck with the 700r with a manual valvebody.... i got one and only one ticket with my truck... i told my freind with his mustang that after the 1/4 mile keep going and we\'ll go for top end... i got clocked at 272km/h.... in other words about 160mph.... to give you an idea it was in a 80km/h zone.... and it was a minimum $100 ticket and $2 for every km over up to 120 and $4 per km after that therfore it was $768 i have it framed hanging on my wall... i went to court to request more time to pay it and the judge threw it out of court cuz he didn\'t beleive a s-10 could go that fast!!! ha ha ha ha ha quality stuff... (by the way my freind in the mustang said he topped out at about 195 and the cop folloed me because i was going a lot faster so we both got off in the end)

Hey, just to let you all know. About a week ago, i went to court, for my ticket. I had 4 pics, and some more evidence on my situation. Anyway, i presented it against the statement, the officer didnt show, and i won. So yeah, i won, dont have to pay anything. I gotta look out now though, just put on my new tires, 245/60/15 Cooper Cobra Radial GT and boy do they squeal, like no other, just a little tap of the gas.

did that insurance ticket come from wood river?? i got a no insurance and licence plate ticket there by a little PUNK COP ive also got numerous speeding and stero violations just got my licence back for last stero violation... just chillen out when i drive now NO MONEY!!

well my first time i got a ticket was when i was 16 and 6 days after i got my lisence, i was drivin my moms monte carlo z 34, leavin a party punched it, well it was in a 25 residential i was doing 55 saposidly ...and guess what ... a cop was coming down the road to go to the party to check it out, and before i passed him he hit the lights and i knew i was busted! 30 over 198$ heres # 2 i pulled away form a stop light with my s10 w/o the v8 yet and got clocked for 17 over ahhh well that was only 123$ they got my <b>*Word not allowed, message sent to webmaster.*</b> on that one! #3 well my buddy left our friends house and he called me on my cell and told me he had gotten pulled over by a sheriff and what road and everything....so i said ok man..., imma drive by you and laugh...well me being a dumbass, when i was driving there he had just let him go and i didnt know and was heading my way , me not knowing i was speeding and he got me doing 22 over! 243$ made me get out tried confusing me cuz he thought i stole the truck, cuz i didnt have my lisence on me cuz i was in my work clothes then another sheriff pulls up and they start shinning lights all inside the truck asking where i got it and sh*t, after it was all done he was like and questions i said no.....but i got a suggeston, why dont you get yoru f**king gun calibrated , and i went off on him and he walked away and i peeled off and he let me go i lost my lisence for awhile but i got them back now!!!!!! now i do the speed limit with cruis http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif always!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

Heh, I\'ve been pulled over or confronted by cops 5 times already but no tickets. I\'ve had my license for about 1 1/2 years.



My first run in was kinda funny because my boss lives on the same road as me and after work one night at about 10pm I issued a joking challenge that I would get home before she did. So I thought she ignored it and I went out and pulled onto the main road and all of a sudden I see her tearing through the parking lot towards the shorter exit. Well I said hell no and gunned it by before she could pull out and I had to stop at a red light to turn left with her behind me. Well the light turns green and as I\'m rounding the corner, my tires squeal, and it just so happends that the only other car on the entire road was a cop car and it was on the section I was turning to. Anyways he whips around a U turn and pulls me over with my boss driving by and laughing her a$$ off the entire time. He accused me of <b>\"driving sideways\"</b> and let me go on a warning. I still get a kick out of that one... driving sidways...



The second time I had a confrontation was once again at work when I was driving the Mercedes... I was inside getting my schedule and so I started my car because it has a remote starter. Anyways about one minute later I\'m walking outside and a cop car is pulled up behind my car and he\'s running the plates. He gives me this little lecture on how it\'s illegal to leave your car running without you in it and blah blah blah and when he got done I showed him how my doors were locked and that it\'s a remote starter with legal backing and approval. The very next day I was driving home doing 7-10 over and the same exact guy (small town, only like 4 cops) pulls me over. He recognizes and and starts laughing, he didn\'t even get all the way to my window or ask for any id, he just yelled \"slow it down a little\" and drove off.



Third time was ironic because I was trying to catch up to my friend on a small windy 25mph road towards his house and I\'m doing like 60 and I fly by this cop that just happened to be on this road while rounding a corner. I checked my mirror and I didn\'t see his brake lights come on so I sighed relief and kept on it incase he decided to change his mind. So anyways a pull into my friends driveway and get out and all of a sudden the cop pulls in out of nowhere behind me. Anyways he didn\'t have his radar out so he didn\'t have proof on me but he checked my license and registration and let me off.

this post isnt big enuf to list all my tickets. in the last 17 years ive been driving i collected a few dooseys. the best one was when i was stationed in germany i had my gt40 mustang 5.0. saleen suspension. VERY FAST&gt; well back then they were few and far between. i was on the AUTOBAN doing 145mph( not kph) when i hit the exit. the exit had a 60k (38mph) speed limit and i tripped the radar. they use cameras there. no denying your caught. that cost me 600 dollars.

I got picked up on a camera too in Wurzburg,Germany in my 85 m5 BMW. I too was doing 260 km and got hit for a $500 ticket.
