what did you do to yore headers?

What did you do to make your headers look their best? In the past I\'ve cleaned them up with using a die grinder and wire wheel, wiped \'em down with vinegar and painted with hi-temp paint. I was thinking of trying something different on these. Any ideas?

get them ceramic coated, that\'s what i am doing to my new hedman shorties

GET \'EM COATED!



It\'s SO worth the $$$.



Besides making \'em look nice, they really lower underhood temps, last almost forever, never rust, and improve exhaust scavenging (that means more power!) if you have em coated on the inside too. Jet Hot did mine for like $180 or something inside/outside and they guarantee them again rust and corrosion for life. Plus, they rushed them for me for no extra charge. I sent out the headers 2nd day fed ex on a wed, and had em back wed the next week.



Oh yeah, and jet hot is one of the best companies I\'ve ever done business with. A couple weeks after I got the headers back, they sent me a thank you card (yes, a thank you card!?!), making sure there were no problems and even gave me a jet hot refrigerator magnet and stickers! COOL!

i actually ordered some high temp powder coat at work today, so i\'m have the guys there powdercoat them for me...we\'ll see how well it will last.
