muncie trans shifting probs

i have an 82 s-10 with a 350 and and a muncie 4 speed with a centerforce dual friction clutch. my problem is that i just got back from iraq and my truck has been sitting for awhile. it is really hard to shift into first and reverse gears, when it is cold. when it warms up to about 180 it shifts smoothly into any gear. the other variable is that i have a hydraulic throwout bearing. i bled the line but that proved no good. befor i drop the tranny i am thiking ouf changing the oil. if anyone else has any ideas or input that would be great....thanks a lot soley

You have the right idea change your fluid. Take a look at the fluid coming out of course. Could be that just got a little gunk in the and that syncho needs to be worked.
