I have bought nearly all parts to complete this feat. Just wondering if anyone else has done this and how much fun are you having now? Thanks Rob

you need a new oil pan, you will also need to lengthen your bolt holes for your driveshaft support bearing setup and also you trany mount bolt holes so that you can slide the assembly back just a bit when you squeeze the engine in. ive found if you do this you dont need to do any pounding on the firewall other that by the wiring harnes that goes through the firewall for manifold clearence (unless goin headers) i was lucky with the stearing colum it cleared the manifold i used very well (camero) if you get specialized headers you should be good though also with the oil filter. I myself had room to use a 1799 (i think thats was it is) for a smallblock but it is only about 3 inches long tops instead of geting an offset or remote filter adapter to clear the diferential. mmm lets see oh yea i also found that having the trany in first was a bit easyer that putting it in all in one piece even with the radiator support out
