LT1 Install NIGHTMARE - Experienced Help needed!

Ok have a 1994 s10 which had 2.2 and now getting an 1994 caprice LT1. Tried installing the motor and totally destroyed the ILE a/c delete pulley http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_mad.gif . I\'m using the JTR mounts. Drivers side is in. Passenger side WAY off. No way to push motor down b/c pulley is resting on frame. I didn\'t think i had to notch frame if I wasn\'t using the a/c compressor??? Totally screwed up the firewall too. Anyone with experienced installation with the LT1 and 1LE a/c delete - info is GREATLY appreciated.

Im not experienced but I can try and offer a moment of zen.....huge cans. think about it.....ok...now step back and look all around the compartment. Does something seem odd that should be right? See see? I wish you good luck, and hope you get up and running soon.

It worked! The thought of huge cans really helped! I guess we all get crazy when trying to build these things. After cooling off I found the snag (starter) and motor slipped right in. Thank you!
