Just took my son in last night agter breaking his leg FOR THE SECOND TIME! AND HE IS ONLY 5!!! He broke his right leg after slipping getting out of the kiddie pool when he was 2-1/2, and just yesterday he broke his left leg while riding his bike. I broke some fingers, toes, small bones in my hand, etc. But up until a few years ago I never wore a cast until I broke my arm getting broadsided riding my motorcycle (ended up with 5 pins).

People are telling me that I shouldnt be worried about his bones. Drinks plenty of milk, takes vitamins, doesnt do extremely crazy shit.

Question is, How many have you broken?

kids do that. Personally, I haven\'t broke a thing. Except probably some toes, which most us have broken whether we know it or not. I have a toe or two that is totally rigid, like no \"knuckle\" joints. So they\'re either siezed up from healing that way, or arthritis related to a break.

..... But I forgot my left hand. Knuckles on three middle fingers are arthritic for like 10-15 years now. On the outset, I had an ortho guy X-ray the hand. He said \"holy cow, what happened to your hand? Major trauma to the knuckles\"

........ Then I remembered the old story of how, at age 3 or so, I ran my hand though Mama\'s clothes wringer rollers. Geez, that must have hurt! http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif So I guess my knuckes were all busted up then. I know I wasn\'t treated, or if I was, the doctor just sent us home. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif The thing is, I had nearly forgotten that story, because you\'d think that at that young age, stuff like that would heal like it never happened. My hand was OK for 40 or so years. And that\'s the only place I\'ve got the arthritis. And the good news is there is very little pain, if any.

I must have some tough bones, because I\'ve done some crazy sh!t in my life, from falling 30 feet out of a tree when I was a kid (well I jumped thinking I was Superman hahaha) to getting hit by a car (twice) and I\'ve only ever broken one bone.....my right pinky. To do that I had to take down 100 feet of chain link fence by crashing my younger brother\'s 250cc dirt bike through going flat out. First and last time I ever rode a dirt bike (well, I wouldn\'t mind riding again, but that bike got pretty smashed after I did that and no one since has allowed me to take theirs for a spin hahaha)

the only bone that i broke, was in my left hand. it was a small break from the bottom ,straight up the bone. the doctor called it a boxers break ( happens when you punch something). my broke when i was changing a power steering pump on the ol 2.8, and the ratchet slipped and i wound up punching the waterpump pulley.

Im 40 and only broken one bone so far, my little toe on my right foot.During my v8 conversion I had pulled a 16 hr day on the black * trying to get it done before someone stole something else off it. Earlier in the day I burned the piss out of my finger pulling wires through the firewall with a metal wire that got up against the hot wire on the firewall wow. Then that night I was hooking up an amp that was mounted to a 25 pnd speaker box and hit that wonderful third degree blister ,dropped the box on the seat that went up in the air and landed corner down on my toe...shortly after that I called it a night lol

No shit!!! F^ck me!!

Been pretty lucky so far, only broke my collar bone when I was playing football in 8th grade. Thought I broke my ankle a bunch of times, including slipping off a roof at work.

They thought I broke my finger when I crushed it between my LCA and the concrete floor in the shop. But, was just split wide open. For as bad as it looked, it hardly bled at all.

I would hope the equipment from work is a Hospital, LOL. Sweet wasn\'t the word I used but, what can you expect for hitting a tree, doing a 360 in the air and landing on another tree. Took about a year to recover, had to over come a little paralysis.

hmmm, let\'s see... broken nose, broken tail bone (twice), broken wrist, broken ankle, 4 broken ribs (one of the same ribs broke on 2 separate occasions.)

Also, had ACL replacement on one knee (+2 screws), and torn cartiledge on the other.

Most of my hobbies seem to have a high injury rate. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif

I got hit by a car once too (it was my own car), but that\'s a story for another time. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif
