tail sizes

Wich tail size is harder to get a 6inch or nine inch. The reason im asking is a a guy has a nine inch. that he will trade me for but want money on top of the deal. Becuase he said the longer is harder to find.

no real advantage to either one. If you have an ext cabthe longer tail will help in not having to have such a long driveshaft.

he is talking about the tailshaft on a transmission.as far as the th-350 tranny ive never heard of them being hard to find,but ive never looked for just the tail shaft.

350turbo tranny. ive head the 6 inches are harder to come by then the nine inches. is this right or am i wrong.

you can buy the whole tranny new all day long with either size tailshaft you want.

around here a 9\" tail shaft is a little harder to come buy.they are both getting hard to find but i can find the short shaft easier then the 9\". nick
