You can buy a good one for that much. This one needs to be machined. Add shipping and machining and you might have a good used short.

I wouldnt by it. I just went through 4 LT1 blocks to find the right one to bore. I will not buy another LT block till I actually sonic test it. If you build a powerful engine, I wouldnt use someone elses blown up stuff. Also I wont buy a 4 bolt block any more, just get a 2 bolt and buy splayed caps. A helluva lot stronger than the factory 4 bolt.

Yeah, like 6spd said. Buying a busted motor, especially one that was almost new has a bad feel to it. You\'ve gotta wonder. Like buying into a train wreck.

i dont know i thought it was a good deal but i have never delt with a lt4 block before but as far the crank an rod s the crank brandew threw jegs is almost a 900 dollar bill the last time i looked at them. but i dont know. nick
