Hi, glad to find a community that supports my new project http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

Anyways I just aquired a crate 350 with 30 miles and supposedly on it\'s current setup it makes around 300 HP. I have an \'84 2wd 5 sp. S10 that this is dropping into. It came originally with the 2.0L I-4 and weighed in around 2550 lbs I believe. I\'d just like some ballpark figures performance wise as far as what kind of 1/4 mile times I might expect assuming that I get a decent launch and traction. I really have no idea what to expect out of it so any input would be appreciated, thanks.

Depending on your elevation, in which if you are above 3000ft i would say that you would probably run a high 14 low 15 at about 85-90mph. A 13.xx may be attainable if you are at a really low elevation with good traction. But if you are at or about 3000ft i dont think you will get better than a mid-14.

I\'m at about 500ft. up here in WA. So I think the air will work out pretty well. The drag strip (Evergreen Speedway aka Seattle Internation Raceway) is only 10 minutes from my house so I\'ll make some runs after I get everything in and hope for the best. Just gotta get my launch down I guess is the big thing.

At 500 ft you should pull a mid-14 or so, depending on how you hook.
