aint this a kick in the balls

last wednesday, i took my gas door off the truck last week. there was a small rust spot starting to form on the corner. i hit it with the sandblaster and took it down to bare metal. hit it with like 4 coats of sealer. that shit that goes on clear and dries black. it reacts with the metal to seal it in.



let dry for 24 hours.



thursday: scuff it up, shoot primer on it, let dry for 24 hours.



the weekend sucked, thats in another post.



yesterday, scuff the primer. shoot with 11 coats of paint.



today. scuff the paint. this bloody thing is flawless. hang it back up to shoot clear on it. it falls off the hanger from 5 feet in the air, lands on the corner and bounces 8 feet across the concrete floor. paint chipped off all 4 corners, its scuffed to hell and covered with garage floor shit.



this was immediately followed my me saying many 4 letter words loudly. i smoked a but, calmed down and sanded it all out again. im currently in the process of laying primer down again. looks like its not gonna be done tonight.



UGH. ever feel like theres a black cloud over your head?

aw man that sucks man! hope it comes out fine, i\'m sure it will, oh and yeah i\'ve had my share of black cloud moments, rather not talk about it here, but i know how ya feel man.

i got like 5 coats of primer on it. so it can sit till tomorro.

im sure it will all work out in the end. and yes i have had a black cloud over my head on this project for over 2 years. but it looks like it is finally starting to lift.
