Well im not sure if that ratio is correct, but i still need to wire it up put in the drive shaft , figure out the plumbing and slap the quarters and everything back together... i wanted to share anyways i couldnt wait!





Well i started with this

Then i started pulling the motor out...

Painted the frame

Now i took my new motor out of an 83 gmc and started srubbing and then brought it to my engine guy to do some work.. then my friends dad painted the block and i painted the trans..

Then i attached the tranny to motor and after 4 trys got the engine to go in, This is with the stock valve covers

Now with the chrome valve covers

The scoop is just placed on haha.



Well i hope you guys like it ! i woudnt have been able to make it this far withought you guys!!!Im hoping to have it going in around 10 days... Im crossing my fingers!!!

i\'ll have to say, thats the first green block i have seen--- not a bad color- take your time--do it right. good luck

yah the green is similiar to my trucks green.. it has lots of pearl so its nice and shiny

soo today, i got the tranny all sitting good and bolted down, got it wired up, but my rad in forward postion and made cutom rad support brackets. attached my electric fan and also got my ratchet shifter installed...(still need to wire the neutral safety switch.



Im just waiting on my exaust to be shortend and i also need to buy a new rotor because mine broke during the swap.



I will be needing fluids and some heater hoses



and then my engine guy is gonna come friday hopefully and get er fired up! i cant wait!

Looks good, how and what is holding the scoop in place? looks like two spacers, are they to get it past the hood? http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

id say im about 85% done now, the exaust is all hooked up, wirings all done, nows its reassembling time...yay........
