Ok i went to the tranny shop to have the torque converter lock up fix and now its fixed, but on the way home my electric fan quit on me. So now i have no way of cooling my truck so i cant drive it.

Does anyone here understand how relays work and how to wiring them.

i got the truck with the fans already hooked up so im not sure what the different terminals on it are for.

It a 4 pin relay. i have a 5 pin really i can use if need to.

Can anyone hepl me with this?

also i want to wire in an illuminated swtich instead of just a toggle switch.

The switch has 3 pins on it. one for power, one for ground is the third gonna be for a nother power.

if your asking about the torque converter lock up im not sure i didnt pay for it. it was a warrantee job for when he rebuilt the tranny for me.

But incase your wondering i brought my truck to him with a early model 700r4 that slipping like crazy. so for 1200 canadian (800-900 american) he got me a later modle 700r4 and rebuilt it with a corvette servo, extra clutch packs, custom made shift kit and a heavy duty, stock stall carbon fiber torque converter.

All said and done im very happy. the shop was very clean which gave me confidence in the guy and his worked turn out really well.

When i brought my truck to him today he wired the lock up selenoid directly to the 4th gear swtich inside the tranny so i dont even have to turn it on. it locks up automatically in 4th gear. it only took him about an hour and half from the time the truck went in the shop to when he drove it out. so if your friend takes it to a good tranny shop hes prolly looknig at maybe 2 hour labour plus parts, and maybe new tranny fluid, filter and gasket.

oh by the way i took the front grill off my truck to make it easier to wook on my fans and found that one of my wire for the fan came unpluged so i pluged it in and it works so now i can wait until spring to try and figure out that mess of wire tryin to run my fans!
