2pc driveshaft

I am new to the s10 v8 swap and could use some experienced help on whether the 2pc driveshaft in my longbed project truck is a weaklink. I have heard that can\'t handle mouch torque but have also heard that won\'t be a problem The idea is for mostly street class drag racing, but could see some street use also, and am planning on a mild 327/t350 for starters. Ours did ok with 400 horses. T350 with 4.56 gear. We are in the process of going to a 434 with 600 hp so we are going to get a one piece one made.
