just wanted to say hi as a new member of the site. ive been watching the site as i looked for a good donor truck waiting till i get one b4 i join. just picked up a 95 ext cab for $500 with a blown 2.2L 5spd. i had an old 79 camaro i built for bracket racing but died. the s10 is already disassembled and will soon be recieving the 383 stroker after i get the parts from summit to get it running again along with the BW T1-10 4spd. and i just picked up a chevy SB turbo from my fiance\'s father for $300.
The Question: wondering if any1 knew how the exhaust would have to be routed to fit the turbo under the hood (2\" cowl which can have a hump moulded to fit). its a single turbo designed for use with a 650-800 double-pumper carb. was originally used on a 1967 camaro with a 327. ive been told the turbo fits in place of the battery plate, but as the v8 isnt ready to be put in i cant tell for sure. any1 with experience or knowledge with a mid-aged v8 s10 TURBO placement, input would be appreciated...
Thx for eduring my \"life story\"-length question http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif
Sincerely, 1320
