I have had enough of the guessing on the computer and all of the sensors. I am really thinking of switching to a carb setup. I would like to keep my vortec heads and I am looking at a rpm air gap with a street avenger 770. Do you think that this would be a good setup?
I have a lt4 hot cam in it now. Also do you think there will be a big power loss?

I\'m running the e-tec aluminum heads and a bigger camshaft.... the 770 carb is too big in my opinion... I have a 750 on mine and I\'ve put the smallest jets that come in the calibration kit for that carb and it is still a bit on the rich side.... I\'d go with a 650 if I had it to do over again... but since I spent 300ish on the 750, I\'m not gonna spend another 300ish on a 650.

i have a new air gap intake for the vortec heads and a good 670 avenger carb and a hypertec HEI distributor that would all work great for you. all you would have to do is swap the dis gear for the roller cam (cheap) if you have a complete TPI set up i would be willing to swap ya straight up? let me know.
I have a Tpi setup on mine. Thinking of switching to carb.
