i use the long pump, due to the use of 3rd gen f-body serpentine system engine set back almost to the end of mount slots, the radiator is 4.3 v6 original equip.i usually have maxx 2\" from radiator to the h2o pump pulley.if you are lookin for a short h2o pump i have one for sale its an aluminum weiand pump(never used)it can be converted to long style via moroso extenders.65.00 shippedhttp://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

Yeah I have a short water pump sitting here too the reason i cant use it is because the holes on the passanger side of the pump are staggered so they wont work with my alternator mounting bracket so i went with the long pump im also using the be cool conversion radiator that only has a 1 in. thick core just hoping i have enough room for a puller fan cause pushers dont cool as well or so im told

I use a be cool radiator with long water pump and puller fans. I used the flex a lite thin ones. Its a tight squeeze and some creative trimming has to be done, but it is definately doable. If I had it do do again I would have just used the short pump, I only run a water pump and alternator. Good Luck.
