Found my engine!

After searcing and searching for an LS1, i have found an LT4 from a 94 Z28.. It is still in the car, he started it, and it sounds GOOD.. I can get EVERYTHING for $2000.. Chris, the guy that owns it said i can pull it to the shop, and sit it right beside my truck so that i get anything i need.. Does this sound like a good deal?

78000 miles, not a problem, it runs smooth as can be..



ill just be taking it back out and putting stronger internals in it.. Getting ready to put it on the hose.. I love driving with nitrous oxide for soem reason..

$2000 for a LT4 is a damn good deal, those motors are hard to come by.

I plan on buying an aftermarket wiring harness from Ice Queen.. Do i still need the factory wiring harness form the truck or the car?

you\'ll want to keep the truck harness so that you\'ll have your signal lights headlights and so on but changing it to run the new harness is easy and you dont need the car harness. so he selling you the whole car? if so you should be able to sell it to a yard for parts and make a decent amount of money back if it has good parts..



Check the computer thats in it and see if the serial number matches this 16188051

that\' part of the deal, i cant sell the car parts.. I give back to him, what is not used in my truck.. Chris runs the body shop i work at, and this is one of his project cars.. He just said to pull the whole car to the shop so i can get everything i need engine, tranny, etc.. Where is the computer on that car? ill run up and check it sometime today... also can you get me a price on a wiring harness.. email addres is wot_racing@s10v8.com

I think that year had an incab computer but Im not sure you\'ll have to take a looksee if the computer isn\'t in the engine bay its def incab under the dash around the center of the console.

are you sure its an LT4. they didn\'t put them in 94 camaros. only in the 96 collector and grand sport vettes. maybe in a handful of 96/97 camaro\'s.
