the wires on your horn circuit are probly exposed and touching the wires on you dome light/radio circuit. i would guess its near the fuse panel cause thats were all the wiring comes together but i could be wrong. see if you have continuity between the dome light and horn contacts, if you do than you have whats called a short to circuit or possibly ground since everything grounds to the vehicle. Happy hunting!

I had that problem when I bought my blazer... come to find out it was an exposed hot wire behind the aftermarket radio that had been grounding against the metal in the dash supports... My guess is that its somewhere in your horn curcuit... but its definetly a wire grounding out

Have u or has it ever had an aftermarket steering wheel put in it. Cause the GT Grant steering wheels had kinda a recall, not really but you had to send in a deal and they sent you a foil type strip to place behind the horn spring so it wouldnt ground out. This may be your problem. Also i believe that the horn, stereo and interior lights are on the same circut, depending on how the stereo is hooked up.

If your working with a newer body style truck you more then likely have a body computer in the center of your dash console near the bottom remmove the black piece of plastic find all the grounds and power leads from it and make sure there setup right. if your dealing with an older body style did you have gm\'s delayed light kit? if you do check the relay for it should be on the passanger side see if something is contacting with that panel gm left it open in the back and sometimes things rub and wear and cause shorts around there Ive seen everything from headlights constantly on to turn signals comming on in the middle of the night I know gm did do a fix for it at one point but Im not sure what year it depends on your truck.
