OK, so I did some driving yesterday. Now I know that X pipes (balance pipes) Can improve torque and low end performance....

Ever since i put in this Isky roller hydraulic, I\'ve been cursing it for the crappy idle, I even advanced the cam a couple degrees to just to make it tolerable. The cam isn\'t crazy, 234-242 @.050 w-110LSA. In gear at 800 RPMs, the truck would actually shudder. Not fun driving on the street. Maybe too early to tell, but it sure seems a whole lot better with this new \"X\" muffler. Go figure.

I think it is possible. There is a lot that goes on with exaust, pulse, wave legnth, back pressure. I won\'t pretend to understand it all but, I don\'t think it would be to suprising for it to change the chacteristics of a motor a little if one of these was changed. Wheather it is a change for the better or worse.
