I want to put a fuel call in my truck, but dont know much about fuel calls. First off do I need a drag cell or a circle track cell ( the truck is going to be a daily street driver)? Another question is where should I put it in the bed, close to the cab or closer to the tailgate? My other question is, if I use a cell will I be able to rig up a fuel level gauge? If so how?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you can get a fuel meter gauge from autometer its not too expensive, just cut a hole in the cell with a hole saw. If you are running a mechanical fuel pum pyou can use a circle track cell because the fuel has to be SUCKED out... if your running an electric pump, like a holley.. I would get a sump (drag race cell) it\'s a PUSH pump.. if you mount it too far away you will have fuel pressure problems. (Speaking from experience.) Put the cell close to the tailgate.. or directly over the rear axle. Don\'t put it close to the cab because it will be a bitch to pump gas http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif

Im looking at putting a drag cell under the bed close to the back of the truck. Should be better for weight distribution. But I am broke and not able to do it yet
