ls series engine weight/handling questions.

I\'m looking into swapping a v8 into my 2001 xtreme ext cab 4.3/4l60. The truck runs amazingly well as is but I\'m a typical bigger is better type. However the truck also handles very well and I would not want to take a weight penalty. It would be a real bonus if I could improve my weight distribution. My biggest question is if anyone out there has any specs on engine weight of the 4.3 vs the ls motors 4.8, 5.3, and 5.7? Also do the headers on this site fit the ls engines? Do I need to replace the radiator if I use the smaller 4.8 or 5.3? Do I still need the 2.8 engine mounts in addition to the ls1 adaptors if I allready have a v6 in the truck?

for sure with a v8 you gain in excess of 100 lbs---- placing battery in back of bed and a fuel cell also in back of bed will help.
