Only problem you may have is you need to remove your tranny ears and use a 4x4 pan. everything else is regular just drop in.

You might not need a 4x4 oil pan, test fit the motor abd see if it clears the diff and axle and you might save yourself $250!!!

You\'ll need the pan because the forward diff is just behind the cross member Ive done a 4x4 already and tried test fitting without it and unless your ready to spend money on moving your trans further back just get the pan.

Since you have a body lift that\'ll help out quite a bit.

Yeha you wont have to mod your trany tunner and you\'ll have lots of distributor clearance. even my truck didn\'t need to have the trany tunnel bashed and still has quite a bit of ditributor room the thing that kills me and will be easier on you is changing spark plugs!

Depending on the suspension lift kit,you might not need the oil pan. Most kits move the front diff away from the pan therefore making it not necessary to use the special pan.
I have been know to be wrong though. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

With a 5\" trialmaster lift you don\'t need a special oil pan. Whatever floats your boat will fit. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

the trailmaster is just an a arm and diff drop well thats crap... yeah you can go with a regular oil pan and shouldn\'t have to worry about your oil filter either.. Im eyeing a 4x4 for myself and if I do it Im going to put real axles front and rear none of these easy to break floating diffs infact an axle swap would be as easy/hard as doing the engine swap then you could go as high as you want..
