I Heard somewhere that s10 front suspension is similar to camaros and other cars around the early 80\'s.

I was wondering if i could get some v8 springs at a junk yard and put them in my truck, the reason why i want to do this is because my front end is too low and my hedders get beat up really bad.

I would like to get around 3 inches of height in the front and then level it off by changing the height of the rear end. Any solutions??

S10 front suspension is the same as the G Body chevy cars. 82-88 RWD Monte Carlo, buick regal, malibu, etc.

gdmclnh iss correct.

You could get a set of springs from a 78-87 monte carlo, olds cutlass, buick regal or any off the metric chassis cars.

With the amount of work required to r&r a set of used springs it might be worth the $$$ to buy a set of new ones.

Just my 2 cents though

Why is it low? Stock springs should be around stock heigth. Mine barely got lower and mine originally had the 4 banger in it.

Im lowered 3\" with skinnys and fenderwells now and mine dont even come close to hitting.

Hmmmm

mine dropped near an inch in the front and rode like a brick when i did the swap. all i had to do was swap out the front shocks.

I was wondering the same thing. Shouldn\'t have dropped much. Was it dropped to begin with?

i didnt build the truck, i just thought my v8 was to heavy which made it low, i think the guy i got it from dropped it 3 inches bcause the rear is dropped 3 inches.

I think i have hooker hedders,1 tube wraps outside the frame, they just get beat up bad on these New England roads

drivers side collector 4\" off the ground passengers side collector about 6\" off the ground.
