C-clip eliminators with spools?

If i go with the mini spool in my truck do i need the c clip eliminators. In jegs it says, \"C-clip eliminators are not required, but are highly recommended.\" So are you guys with mini spools usin them?

I got a rear from a guy that put in a spool. He didn\'t use them. Im no expert,but I think thats why the axle has like 3/4\" lateral movent in and out of the housing. Its tearing the spool apart, and I\'ll be getting a new posi unit soon.

it can do worse than just tear the spool apart it can cause your axle to pop out. the clips are a def must!
