i am looking at getting new heads for my 350. i also want to put headers on it, what type of spark plug has the best clearance (i\'d imagine the angled ones). thanks in advance....

What kind of headers are you going to use? I have the headman shorties with angle plugs, they do work, but I have to unbolt the headers to change plugs and my #1 and #2 plugs are real close to the tubes. I have wrap on them and those heat shilds to keep from burning those 2 wires. If your going to use a shorty style header Get straight plugs. Its really not worth the extra hassle unless you can save a lot of $ on a set of angle plug heads.

if i had to do it again i would go with straight plugs, angled plug clearance for me was a F!@&**& nightmare. i bought a set of victor jr heads with 23 degree raised exhaust ports that threw spark plug clearance way off. hedman shorties, forget about it, no where even close. i bought a set of hedman husler that according to hedman that should fit with no problems, what a joke. i had to pay someone alot of money to modify the geometery of 4 tubes for header clearance. after gettin those bad boys ceramic coated, paying someone to redesign them, cost was about 1200 bucks. the headers alone were $500. This isnt always the case, but it was in mine. Good luck with the angled plugs http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

I have a set of the victor jr. heads, angle plug and raised exhaust ports and I bought sanderson big tube headers and they will not fit without major reconstrution, so i sold they and bought heddmen hustler fenderwell big tube headers and they are the easiest headers i have ever put on anything. And plugs are easy, u can use a socket and rachet on all of them.
