Hey i have a driveshaft vibration at 50+ ans increase with speed. Somebody told me thats my pignion angle.

my truck is lowered 3\" and JTR sell some alignment shims for that.

they say 3 degree for 3-4 drop but i converted my 2 pieces driveshaft into 1 piece.

do these 3 degree block still works?

You converted it to a 1 piece? I didnt think you could do that. I have the JTR kit on my 99 Ext cab ZQ8. I swapped out my factory 1.5\" coils for some 2\" belltechs, and added a 1\" block in the rear with the .5\" block they also sell. So I am now sittin at a 2/3 drop. Bought the kit with trans and carrier spacer, and the 3* shims. Great ride quality, very strong kit! Billet is the way to go! I highly recommend this kit!

i removed the carrier bearing cross member and put a 1/2 van driveshaft. fit perfectly

is that when you started getting the vibration? The extended cabs need the 2 piece driveshaft to keep the pinion angle correct, and to keep the driveshaft from hitting the bed when the suspension compresses. If you are dropped, with the 1 piece driveshaft, your pinion angle has to be way off!

you can buy an angle finder at sears that works fine. check the angle of the output shaft compared to the angle of the pinion yoke. take the driveshaft off to do this and be sure to have 4 jack stands underneath to get the truck somewhat level. let us know what angles you\'ve got. shims can be bought to change the pinion angle if need be.
