Supercharging 305\'s

Not saying im planning on doing this, just curious ive been reading that 305-307\'s are good motors to supercharge? is this true and if so whats the reason!

I would disagree. both of those motors are OK at best. a 4.3 is a better motor than either of those V8s and I am very partial to a V8.

This is an intresting information on 305, some people seeem very partial to them, i can understand why they arnt very popular though

The good news is that the small valve heads work really well on a 305 to begin with! They like velocity more than volume, which is another reason that they respond so well to mild supercharging. A simple B&M Forced Induction or a 4-71 blower make real monsters out of 305 engines!
