I have a 1990 blazer with 2\" blocks in the rear and am wanting to go down another 2\". I know blocks are cheap so I think I may go with them. But my father says that with 4\" blocks the axle perches will be really low to the ground. He recommeded using leaf springs. I figured this may change my ride but im not sure. anyone have any suggestions?

you can use 4\'\' blocks but if your running traction bars then you might have a problem with them scraping. Both my trucks have 3\'\' blocks in the back and i have never had a problem. I don\'t think you\'d have a problem. It also depends on how tall your tire is. Mine on my 86 are 26\'\' diameter and like i said theres no scrap. i have probaly 4 to 5\'\' before it would start to scrap. Go with the block and save yourself some money.

i run dunlop gt qualiers 265/50R15 and like i said i still have lots of clearence with a 3\'\' block. i think with a 4\'\' you\'d be fine. Knudsonm runs a 4\'\' block with 235/60R15 and traction bars and i think he has the same tire as you and he has very little rub.
