It seems to me if you used weaker front springs to lower your truck, you would have problems with bottoming out. Anybody have any information on this subject? I would like to lower the front about two inches but I don\"t want to change the ride quality. Any thoughts? Thanks for your time. Bernie Steffen bstef@mchsi.com

Lowering spindels would be the answer. I read that several people complain that lowering springs ride a little harsh. But together, would put your truck in the weeds.

my truck rides like a vette. not to harsh not to sloppy. i have 3\" spring with 2\" spindles and Eldabock IAS shocks. the shocks are the key.

of all the lowering springs that i have used(many of them).they are not weaker.they are usually stiffer, just shorter.
if your just going 2\" i would just use spindles, and you will have the same ride you have now,but i prefer to stiffin things up a bit myself.
ive ordered them through aim industries many times with great results, and a great price.
