I have a 327 with double hump heads I recently bought and was going to pull my 406 out of my s10 and do a rebuild on the 406. My question is where can I get the brackets to put my alternator etc etc on the double humps? Will I have to have a shorter water pump?
Sounds like you have the heads that have accessory holes in them. If so,then if the old ones won\'t adjust to reach I\'d try rip-offbay or wrecking yard.

The heads where made in 67, no double humps in 67 had accessory hole, wasn\'t until 69 that the double humps had accessory holes and it was on the 302. Was hopeing someone in this forum had some forsale.

i ran a long water pump with my camel humps and just put a through bolt on the alt and it held just fine and was really sturdy. you just have to have the bracket that bolts to the pump which you have so I would just do that and you should be fine
