Why does Hedman say that you can\'t use there fenderwell headers with drop spindles? Has anyone tried it to find out what the deal is?

I have hedman fenderwell headers and the tires hit the header tubes, if you drop the suspension it will hit the header tubes higher and give you even less turning angle.

I just find it wierd how they specify \"drop spindles\" on the website but nothing about drop springs. I imagine if you run a 4\" skinny up front it would almost illiminate this problem?

ive dropped mine about an 1 1/2 inch, I use 3 1/2 wide wheels and a 155 tire. Mine touches the outermost pipe on top, and the collector. The camber is set at 0 degrees. if you dont mind having a poor turning radius you could try it. oh by the way my collectors are 3 inch and 1 3/4 primarys.

i can say if your going to be street driving alot and want to turn, dont do it. I dropped the from of mine 4\" or so with coil overs and 2\" drop spindles. The truck doesnt turn for crap but i dont drive it on the street alot so i dont care. And i run 15x4 convo pros with 165/85/15 tire. Truck sat to high before and got scary at the end of the track. Also if you plan on running exhaust theres alot of fabbing for it. Took me awhile to get the exhaust down.
