Anyone know the casting numbers for the 82-92 Camaro exhaust manifolds? Do they come with or with out AIR pump tube holes? And, Do I need the AIR pump on my 350 conversion for my 89 Blazer to pass California SMOG inspection? The 4.3 dose not have it. Installing a 92 350 TBI from a van.

i dont know about the numbers but i got a set the other day from racer1182 out of his truck they are going into a 89 s10 4x4 or an 88 i got to look at it to make sure but the exhaust exits out at the very end not in the middle of the #7 and #5 ports i have been looking for these for a long time and found a set all i had to do was pull the motor out of it for him. the truck they came out of is a 90 chev with the 350 700r4 4x4 if all that makes a difference but theres an option. nick

ok, if your gonna go after manifolds then get the manifolds off of a TPI camaro. they made 2 different manifolds. externally theyre almost the same. theres a set with 2 1/4 collectors and a set with 1 3/4 collectors. obviously you dont want the latter of the two. the set with the 2 1/4\" collectors are bigger all around internally and flow substantially better. yes, all of them come with AIR tubes, and yes, you will need them to pass cali smog.

Dont understand why I should need AIR on the 350 when it isnt on the 4.3 TBI and also wasnt on the 92 TBI van engine doner? Both are Califonia vehicles. Can you please explain?

OK found this from California BAR. States must have all emission componants to the year of the vehicle not engine. So if I dont have AIR I shouldnt need to install it.

The installed engine and host chassis must retain all of their original emission control equipment. engines smog, the chassis refers to converter etc

Ya, So then I do not need the AIR pump and tubes.
What I\'m gettin at is:
Did the 82 up Camaro ever come with out AIR? Those are the exhaust manifolds I am looking for.
