i have a 1982 s10 4 cylinder with japan motor 3 speed automatic on the rear end codes it say standard what does that mean what ratio

look in the glove box and get the code. do a search on rpo codes on this site http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif most 4cylinders came with a 3.73 or 4.10
