HOw tight do i tighten my body mount bolts, also, after putting them on the body seems to be more towards the passenger side.....or the cab doesn\'t line up with the bed very well, truck has not been wrecked, any suggestions? i\'m wondering if i put the wrong bushings in the wrong place, for some reason the kit from energy suspension has two different top urethane bushings, two that are the same for like the under your feet and the... radiator support then the furthest one\'s back are different from the other two..., main question though, what do i tighten the bolts down to torque wise?

do body mounts have torque specs? i would tighten mine down as much as i could w/o them snapping. use your judgment on that one.

yes there is torque specs for them but im not sure what they are, when i installed polys on mine i just tightened them till they squish down a little bit, that way your sure they wont back off on there own

I\'ll look in my factory manual when I get home, I\'m in OKC for a class at the moment. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif

I checked the factory manuals and the body mount bolts are torqued to 52 ft lbs converted from Nm.

As for your cab alignment, you\'ll want to try to wiggle it back to where it should be. I\'ve run into that a couple of times - there\'s enough play in the mount holes to allows the cab to move out of true. I just grabbed a couple of buddies, fed them some beer and had them help me pick it up and play with it until I was happy with the alignment. Once you have it where you want it, tighten them down and keep checking to make sure you don\'t pull it back out of alignment.

a tape measure is a pretty nice tool for making things look even and straight.
