Drive shaft is too long

I got a set of zq8 leaf springs, put em in, and now my drive shaft is about an inch too long? What the F!!!! Anybody have any ideas before I go ahead and shorten my drive shaft? Thanks in advance.

too long... well the driveshaft changes depending on how high or how low your car is... soooooooo you might have to get it shortend..

My old leaf springs had 2 leaves plus an overload my new springs have 2 leaves plus an overload. Should be the same and still have no bed on it so it should still fit.

how hard is it to get in..... it should just fit in then if you didnt change the ride height.....

yes I know there s a front and back, did that the first time I installed the springs. Everything went together fine. The only thing that tipped me off was my ssm lift bars were not contacting the spring eye. My old springs were in correctly. I checked the measurements on them. I\'m confused
