truck went 10.7\'s @ 130MPH. thats just putting it in with no tuning on the carb. ATI messed up the converter. Stall is at 4500 not 6000 where it should be. If anyone is interested i have a 8\" ATI converter forsale with 9 passes on it. Its been back to ATI 3 times and they refuse to make it a 6000 stall. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_mad.gif They dont worry about real world applications all they are worried about it what looks good on paper. For anyone that needs a 4500 stall let me know i paid $900 for this converter trying to sell for $500

Send the converter to someone else to get it set up for your truck. Say like Neal Chance (http://www.racingconverters.com/) http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif I know I mention them anytime someone ask about converters, but they know their s#&t. Mine was a TCI that they converted to a bolt together and changed the stall.



BTW: 10.7 is pretty damn good for right off the trailer & wrong stall.

at 130 MPH i shoulda went 10.3 or so but the truck only had a 1.65 60\' becuase of the converter. Neal Chance and PTC was my two choices when i was converter shopping. I choose PTC due to the fact a good friend/chassis man is a PTC dealer and could do me right on one. I broke a ptc converter and a transmission but they stood behind it.

I tryed PTC before but after 3 times they couldnt get the stall right either so i went with ATI now they are F\'ing me. Im going to try neil chance or ive had good luck with Dynamic converters based out of delaware.
