Hey guys, thought I\'d post a quote of a thread from another forum over here, I figured some of you guys would find it entertaining. By the way, I\'m not the one who wrote it.
I jsut saw a Blazer light up
all 4 tires. i was sitting at this light after jsut getting gas when I saw this 95 or higher Chevy blazer 2 door pull up to the light. Sounded pretty nice. i jsut looked over and the girl in the passanger seat waved. i waved back and the guy rolled down the window. he asked if I wanted to run. i said sure what you got in there. he said 4.3 I said rev it. after that i said its no 4.3 so whats in it. he siad its a 4.3. either way i said Ill run him/ Light turns green and I hit it. looked beside me and I saw his front tires were smoking. i sort of let off thinking he was having problems till i realised his rear tires were smoking as well. I get back on it by this time he has traction and he is pulling on me. Pulling pretty good too. So we pull up to the next light and I ask to pull over. We stop and we got to talking. he popped the hood and he had a 350 twin turbo going to a all wheel drive Safari tranny on a 4x4 blazer chassi. He said he was pumping out somewhere close to 500HP but he cant find a all wheel drive dyno in the area. The swap looked so clean it looked liek it was factory. As we looked at the motor it was a corvette 350 BTW. Pretty neat. i dont mind getting killed by something like that. He said he always wanted a Typhoon but didnt like the square body so he and his old man made this one.
Thought Id share my getting killed story.When i say light up the tires he wasnt blowing huge clouds of smoke. jsut a good haze of tires. The only reason i can think of him smoking the tires was his lane had some water that was splashed as cross traffic was going through the intersection otherwise I dont think I would stand a chance if that thing hooked up from a standing start.

Sounds like 500HP to the wheels is more like it. By the way, the guy racing him was in a Syclone, with a 454 swap I think. I\'m finding out as we speak.
