Is this safe?

Soo alright my truck started with the 4.5 then i put a 305 in and i had the engine sitting far back so i had to shorten my driveshaft an inch. now i have a 350 with the engine all the way forward and am using that same shortend drive shaft... Should i invest in a new driveshaft?

Probably. But to be sure you need to check the amount of spline that\'s out of the trans when the truck is sitting level on the ground. I think about an inch is reasonable.
