neproracer, is that Gretna New Orleans? Do you have carb or fuel injection? If fuel injection, what kind? http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

Gretna Nebraska. I didn\'t know they made a shorter cable for a V8 S-10 that you can get at the parts store. was looking at Lokar and such, but would like to keep the stock pedel hookup. Lokar uses a clevis type. no biggie, just thought someone come up with a shorter stock gm cable off another model.

Just a chevy V-8, with a BG carb on Weind small rise intake, the 95 S10 had a st8 4. so the cable is a little long for the V8 setup and has to be looped a bit, kind of small drag on foot feed. maybe I\'m to picky, but I like my throttle smooth, controlable. no, not to much spring, lol, someone has had to run change cable, using a stock pedal connection. Thanks again

The 2.8 throttle body cable has worked for many people. This would be a cheap junk yard run to see if it would fit. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

i used a lokar cable.. ran me 40$ only problem is i had to loop it around because the angle from the petal to the carb is not a good one... if that makes sense...

i replaced mine with one of those universal spectre cables from the local parts store. they\'re like $20 and adjustable to length. check out summit also, they have several

A stock C10 cable from the eighties fits perfect and will look stock.
