My suggestion will be to go to an oldline GM dealer & find the parts man with the most experience--ie one that remembers the old paper books with the speedo drive/driven gear charts in the back of the section. He may * & grumble, but they are still available in the books. Buy them & put money on the counter to order them then & NOW. Also get the correct adapter housing & all the seals & gaskets you will need to change both gears. None of this get the numbers & try to find them on ebay cheaper crap. Thank him for his knowledge & experience. This is an area that many young guys dont have any experience in if the started working in the last 15 years or so. This was a pain in the butt to deal with years ago & took knowledge then. Best if you can take the numbers off the trans and what tire size & measurements so he can match it up correctly.
