i put a small block in my truck now i want to wire it up but dont know which ones to use?the truck is a 92 it originaly had a 2.5 i cut out all the computer harness and kept what i think i needed comming from the fuse block.3 red wires one which bolts to the firewall and a purple and a pink and white which went to the coil.if anyone has any input let me know http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

big pink/red is crank

then the rest of my wires i just tsted with a voltmeter to see if they were switched 12vs or not... heh

On most older trucks, I think you\'ll find the pink to be ignition, and the purple to pull in the starter solenoid, and red is power, hot all the time.

thanks for the info.i know the pink is coil andi think the purple was from the starter.
