i just wanted to share that i have found a set of headers that fit a big block s-10...they are hedmen headers part #68610...they have 1-3/4 tubes with a 3in collecter...i had a custom sterring shart made for mine but i think they should fit with the stock shaft with a little mod...

not sure about that...stahal makes they for 1200.00 assembled or 900.00 and you weld them up...but you can\'t put muffler\'s on them...these are 130.00 from paw..

Has anyone tried the 396 impala (67-72) exhaust manifolds. They exit at about a 45 toward the back on the drivers side. I would think that would give more clearance than the usual truck and chevelle ones that go straight down on the drivers side. Or the early corvette ones that look like cast headers? I\'ve seen sets of each from $175-300. That\'s a little more than headers, but they don\'t rust out, rattle, leak and give off heat like a Texas barbeque. This is from experience on a SBC. I will admit that after putting $60 worth off copper gaskets on, they did stop blowing the gaskets out continually. Just musta been too much HP. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif
