i installed the truxarosa lighted sideview mirrors on my daughters s-10 blazer today and had to run some wiring for then to work.(turn signals and parking lights) there are 3 wires black, blue, and white. the black wire is for the ground(no brainer) the white wire is for the turn indicator. and i thought the blue wire was for parking lights/running lights. but when i connected the wire no lights! the turn signals work fine. OH! i forgot to mention the the instructions were in tiawanese or something. has anyone ever wired these type of lights? if so http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/help.gif

i tried that..even though i can\'t read taiwanese they did provide a half-a$$ schematic. and they showed the back wire as a ground. just haven\'t been able to figure the blue wire. my daughter said she doesn\'t care as long as the turn signals in them worked. so i figure i am finished with that part. unless someone knows how to read taiwanese..lol

You didn\'t by chance get these off of Ebay did you cause if you did i got the same ones. What i did was run the wires right to the blinkers in the front of the truck. The ones next to the headlights. Sounds dumb but thats the only way i got the blinkers to work. Cause on my set the parking lights and turn signals put out the same amount of light so they wouldn\'t work together. A relay will have to be hooked up to make them work in the correct manner and soon as i sit down and think about it for a minute or so I will let you know. If ya have any questions let me know and i will do my best to answer.

i just installed the same mirrors and the directions said to install diodes and resistors. i have figure i am just going to run the marker lights and not the t/s

hmm,,,,diodes! that could be the problem....the schematic did show diodes but i thought they were part of the mirrors cause the lights are actually light emitting diodes.

I got the same mirrors off of ebay. I looked and though i had to hook up diodes, i dont think u do. Im pretty sure their built in the mirrors, cause these mirrors are just like the ones i found in my truckin magazine and sell for the same price, well, maybe 10 dollars more than the price i paid. roy
