I finally took my truck out today for a good long ride, about 50 miles with my new afr meter. At a cruise(2500-3000 rpms), the meter reads between 10.0 and 11.0. way to rich. What am I looking to change? Acceleration is also a little bit rich, but I know I can play with the pump cams, but everything else is pretty well dialed in. Thanks, Damon

Damon, is that a Holley? If so, what model? And does it have external air bleeds? I'd start with the primary jets. That'd have the most affect on cruising. The 2500 - 3000 RPM is at 60 MPH or so?
.......... What's your vacuum when cruising at 60? You'd want to make sure the power circuit (power valve on a Holley) isn't pulling in when cruising.
.......... The cams, etc. for the accel. pump has little to do with A/F ratio.

Oh yeah, sorry its a holley street avenger 670. I haven't checked my vacuum yet, just sat down to start reading my holley book. tomorrow is another day! 2500-3000 rpm's is a highway speed probably 55-65? speedo doesn't work at the moment.
Scotty, you headin down to e-town anytime soon?

No, no Englishtown anytime in the very near future. Been too damned busy. I need to do a few things to the truck, I'm thinking mid-July I'll be out of the hole. Mid July, Ya know, when it's hot as hell. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_mad.gif
